Työeläke.fi has been revamped, with a focus on supporting users and making information easier to understand
Työeläke.fi now helps users to find the right information more easily than ever. The new visual features make the content easier to scan quickly, support navigation around the site and, above all, make information about earnings-related pensions easier to understand. Services that require identification, as well as the calculators, remain unchanged.
The Työeläke.fi online service has been given a modern new look. The content is largely the same and familiar to users, but it is now presented through new features that guide users more clearly. These features and presentation methods are designed to highlight the information most important to users, break down the stages of different processes and smoothly direct users to the calculators, their own pension record or their pension provider’s online service.
The structure of Työeläke.fi and the features that support navigation have been designed to make using the site straightforward and to make information easy to find. Reducing repetition has also created space for topical themes, such as campaigns.
The redesign did not introduce any changes to the Työeläke.fi calculators or to services that require identification, such as your pension record and applying for a pension.
Changes also made to content production and the technical environment
For users, the most visible aspect of the Työeläke.fi redesign is its new appearance. From the perspective of Communications and Information Management at the Finnish Centre for Pensions, however, this was a comprehensive overhaul designed not only to provide up-to-date solutions for presenting content, but also to ensure efficient content production and the service’s technical maintainability in the years ahead. In addition, the project led to the creation of a new development model for collaboration with the system supplier.

Työeläke.fi helps you estimate your retirement age and the amount of your pension. It also directs you to your pension record and your personal pension information. The website is maintained and its content is produced by the Finnish Centre for Pensions.
