The second ETK Pension Research Forum delves into distributional aspects of pension policies and the consequences of increasing retirement ages. Welcome to the webinar on Monday 16 March 2026 at 13:00–15:30 (CET). The webinar is in English.

The webinar presentations will provide in-depth insights into wealth inequality and redistribution through pension systems, the lifetime redistributive effect of pension policies and risk and resilience factors of pension adequacy. Furthermore, the consequences of linking retirement age to life expectancy and the impact of higher age thresholds on the norm for retirement timing will be discussed. The presentations show insights from cross-country comparative evaluations, as well as findings from the Netherlands and Sweden. Two commentators will discuss the research in a broader context.

Join the ETK Pension Research Forum to hear expert insights and engage in discussions on issues related to both current and future pension policy challenges.
