Are you doing research on pensions and retirement? We offer you a chance to present your work at the second ETK Pension Research Forum to a broad and international audience of pension experts, academics, stakeholders and policymakers.

The ETK Pension Research Forum provides a joint forum for topical pension research. For this second online ETK Pension Research Forum on 16 March 2026 we invite presentations of research on pensions, retirement, careers and population ageing. Both single-country and comparative studies are welcome to be presented and discussed with international experts, increasing the impact of research on policymaking.

The first ETK Pension Research Forum debuted with new evidence on pension reforms

The first online ETK Pension Research Forum was organized in March 2025, thereby continuing the long-standing tradition of research seminars, international conferences and research webinars organized by the Finnish Centre for Pensions.

The first ETK Pension Research Forum featured four engaging presentations by pension and retirement scholars from various countries, complemented by insights from two commentators. Together, they shared state-of-the-art research with almost 150 online participants. The Research Forum provided a unique platform for presenting and discussing recent findings with an international audience.

Building a Tradition

With the second ETK Pension Research Forum in 2026, we seek to build upon the success of the first Research Forum and offer an opportunity for scholars and practitioners to engage in discussions about pensions and retirement by sharing their recent findings and ongoing work with our international community.

Contributions to the ETK Pension Research Forum are warmly welcomed.
