This report reviews the connection between working conditions and the retirement intentions of 50‒64-year-old wage earners. The retirement intentions are defined as intentions to continue working past the earliest eligibility age for old-age pension as well as the perceived threat of an early termination of one’s working life due to disability or unemployment. The analysis is based on the 2013 Quality of Worklife Survey carried out by the Statistics Finland.
